In the New Testament, many faith verses emphasize the saving work of God through Jesus Christ. It is the attitude of complete trust in Christ of reliance on him for all that salvation means (The New Bible Dictionary, third edition).
Faith in Jesus Christ is the key to eternal life. The Scriptures encourage us to believe and then to act on the belief in our daily lives. It sustains us in hard times, giving hope for the future.
Here are 10 faith verses in the Bible:
Jesus taught that we must have faith in Him.
The blind men came to him (Jesus) and he asked them, “Do you believe I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.
Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith it will be done to you”; and their sight was restored (NIV).”
Even when hard pressed, the disciple Peter knew the source of faith.

Faith and doubt cannot coexist.
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him” (NIV).
Small faith grows to mighty works.
He (Jesus) replied “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you”(NIV).
Faith and prayer are interconnected.
Jesus replied, ” I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (NIV).
Faith and hope are interwoven through confidence in God’s promises.
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (NIV).
1 Peter 1:21
“Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so you faith and hope are in God” (NIV).
By faith we can approach God.
